"Being able to be your true self is one of the strongest components of good mental health"
- Dr. Lauren Fogel Mersy

I am passionate about providing inclusive and affirming psychotherapy services, with a particular focus on the LGBTQ+ community. My mission is to create a safe and non-judgmental space where individuals of all identities can explore their unique journeys toward mental health and emotional well-being.
My journey in therapy has been shaped by my education and training at California Baptist University's Master of Social Work program. I hold a deep understanding of the unique challenges that LGBTQ+ individuals, couples, and families may face, and I'm dedicated to offering specialized services that take into account the intersections of mental health and LGBTQ+ experiences.
My goal is to empower you to navigate your life's challenges and celebrate your strengths. I use evidence-based approaches to navigate a wide range of issues, including coming out, identity exploration, and relationship concerns. I am a registered Associate Clinical Social Worker #115735, practicing at Eliza Steel Psychotherapy, and supervised by Brooke Knaack (LMFT #84862).
